Delicious meals that sound elaborate but are very simple and to which BERTRAND adds a wonderful flavor!

Granola bars were yesterday, why don’t you try our delicious fruit bars? They are full of vitamins and taste fantastic. The dates give the bars a pleasant sweetness and dried berries make them fruity. And thanks to BERTRAND they also contain additional nutrients according to NRV (Nutrient Reference Values). Whether as a small breakfast, in the lunch break or in between – our fruit bars always work and are super quick and easy to make at home. Try it out!

Ingredients For The Fruit Bars

  1. 1 cup of dates
  2. 1 cup BERTRAND vegan
  3. 2-3 tsp dried raspberries
  4. 2-3 tsp dried strawberries
  5. 2-3 tsp dried blackberries
  6. Figs
  7. apple juice
  8. edible paper

Load video

In a blender, mix one cup of dates and one cup of BERTRAND until homogeneous.
Add the dried berries. Puree the mixture with a little apple juice and figs.
Put the mixture between two sheets of baking paper and press it evenly flat. This works for example with a large wooden board
Cover the fruit bar mixture with edible paper and remove the remains with a knife. (A little tip: What you can do with the leftovers is waiting for you in the next recipe video).
Turn the fruit bars over, spread the edible paper on the other side as well. Now just cut into desired bars or pieces and enjoy.

Did you know?

Dates are not only pleasantly sweet, they also contain a lot of good nutrients, are rich in fibre and an excellent source of energy. A date is also ideal as a small snack after exercise, as it stimulates digestion and supplies you with iron. After all, the date did not get its nickname “bread of the desert” from nothing.
