  1. Combine all the ingredients for the dough in a mixing bowl.

  2. Mix the ingredients with a hand mixer until a homogeneous mixture forms.

  3. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes. You can cover it with a tea towel.

  4. Dust a flat, clean surface with flour.

  5. Roll the dough out smoothly on it.

  6. You can now cut small circles out of the dough using a glass. Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  7. Bake the cookies for 10 minutes at 180 degrees. Depending on how thick your cookies are, this may affect the baking time.

  8. Let the cookies rest for a little while and, in the meantime, mix powdered sugar and lemon juice into a creamy mixture. Apply the icing to the cookies. Once the icing has dried, the cookies are ready. Enjoy!

Did you know?

Cookies are naturally not the healthiest thing you can bake. But they make you happy and are simply part of the Christmas season. Instead of our glass, you can also use Christmas cookie cutters. To prevent the dough from sticking to the edges of the cutters or glass, simply dust the edges with a little flour. You can also decorate the cookies with colorful sprinkles. So let your imagination run wild.
