TROPICAL BERTRAND MUESLI
BERTRAND is sometimes more than just a shake that contains all the essential nutrients you need (according to Nutrient Reference Values (NRV)). With a dose of creativity it can also be used individually as an ingredient. Today we have something that will get you summer in your shells.
Tropical Musli with BERTRAND
INGREDIENTS
- 5-6 tbsp BERTRAND classic or vanilla
- the same amount of liquid (milk, water or coconut milk)
- 4 tbsp unsweetened yogurt or plant-based alternative (ex. coconut yogurt)
- ½ a ripe mango
- Pineapple (optional)
- Coconut flakes
- Optional: a bit of vanilla sugar for sweetness
First mix the BERTRAND with the selected liquid and let it stand for a moment. During this time cut the fruit into small pieces. Mix the yoghurt in a bowl with the BERTRAND and then add the fruit and the coconut flakes.
Coconut milk gives this muesli a pleasant, tropical taste that harmonizes well with the fruit. The liquid comes from the grated pulp of the ripe coconut and is lactose-free. This makes it suitable for anyone who wants or has to do without animal milk.
