The customs around and of Valentine's Day are already old. Every country has its own habits and gifts on this day. Whether Valentine's Day cards like in the USA, homemade chocolate in Japan or flowers and chocolates in Western Europe. In Finland, for example, people celebrate February 14th as a friendship day, sending cards or small gifts to people they like. The origin of Valentine's Day probably goes back to Saint Valentine of Terni, who in the 3rd century married soldiers who were forbidden to marry before the war.
