Did you know?

Pumpkin puree is now available in many countries, but making it yourself is almost as easy: just cut any pumpkin (for example Hokkaido, because it doesn't need to be peeled) in half, remove the seeds and the filling and then cut it into small pieces. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees until the pumpkin is soft and then puree it. The rest of the pumpkin puree can also be frozen very well or used for pumpkin soup. It is best to save some of the puree and the homemade Pumpkin Spice for our next recipe.
